Semi-Circular Well

Found this well in my native place - Chendia in Karwar.
It's strange that I never noticed this semi-circular well in any of the previous visits.

There's an old temple in the same lane as our house; though I am atheist, I liked (plz. note the past tense) visiting that temple as it was supposed to a temple my great granny was deeply connected too. Also, because of the pond next to the temple, where there were once crocodiles. Exactly opposite to this temple, is a house that has this semi-circular well.

Now, why past tense for liked visiting the temple - the last time I had been there was because the temple was renovated - the idol of the goddess & the entire template was a new one now. It was very heartbreaking to see a concrete building in place of that sweet old, cool temple.

Long Time, No See!

Finally blogging after a long gap. Well, this post is not about something, but it's about just some random thoughts:

  • So many things look such a waste of time after they are completed. Looking for meaning in what I do, which I often don't find/see.
  • Interests change with time. Sometimes I wonder how I have not been embroidering for 3 yrs now; something I was crazy about. Then was an avid crocheter. Then a long break from crochet.
  • Things change - like my internet speed - probably this is what took away the fun from blogging.
Well, out of thoughts now :)

A Lazy Blogger

I have to admit, I am a lazy blogger. I had thought at least this time, I'll be regular with my blogs. But looks like I keep changing my mind often. I have started to think why just write one blog with loads of categories mixed up - instead feeling that I should have a different blog for different things like - Embroidery, Crochet, Painting, Knitting (just a beginner), Tunisian Crochet (haven't seen many blogs on this so), Cookery, Photos (just a novice), Rangoli (there was a time I wanted to try all the kinds of rangolis that ever existed), Books I've read (much like a backup for me on what I take from them) etc, etc.

Somewhere, I have come to believe my approach towards life is wrong. Whenever I take up something (literally anything), I want to do everything that's there in it - only to realize that it'll take a lot of time, dedication. But can't help it, I like to work things from A to Z. But I really dont achieve much that way. Because I can't be thinking about just one thing - too many interests.
